GRAVES BILL UPDATE:   Tea Party Patriots held a conference call Wednesday evening with Congressmen Tom Graves and Mark Meadows to discuss the defunding of Obamacare. The Congressmen reported that the House Republican caucus has agreed to imagesadopt Rep. Graves bill which defunds and delays Obamacare while fully funding the federal government at sequestration levels for one fiscal year. The bill also includes “Full Faith and Credit” language guaranteeing that US debt will be honored. The bill is scheduled for vote on Friday.

It is expected that all Republicans will vote for this bill and it is hoped that some Democrats will join with Republicans and vote for the Graves bill as well. Obamacare is extremely unpopular with all sectors of the electorate. Some Democrats may be willing to to vote for defunding now to protect their seat in the 2014 mid-term elections.

Please call your representative today – whether he or she is Democrat or Republican – and urge him or her to vote for the Graves bill. Your representative’s number can be found at this link or call their local office.

If the Graves bill passes the House, it is believed the Senate will bring it to a vote on September 28th. Our attentions will quickly turn to the Senate to encourage members to stand with the US House and the majority of Americans who oppose Obamacare and are concerned about the future of their health care under this legislation.

Rep. Graves thanked the 64,000 Americans who joined the conference call for their  efforts in contacting their representatives to urge them to support this important bill. Graves made it known that it was our phone calls that unified the House Republican caucus and House leadership around the plan to defund and delay Obamacare.

We are at a critical juncture in the fight against Obamacare. Please contact your family and friends as well and urge them to call their representatives and tell them to vote for the Graves bill. The unified will of the American people is the strongest voice in the fight for liberty. We have a responsibility to fulfill the power granted to us by our founders. Our calls have brought us to this moment and they can get us to the finish line if we overwhelm the phone lines in Washington and in local congressional offices around the state of Ohio.

Your representative’s phone number can be found at this link or call their local office if the phone lines are busy.
