ACLJ’s Jordan Sekulow Announced as Keynote Speaker at 2013 WTPC
KENT, OH – Tom Zawistowski, President of the We the People Convention, announced today that Jordan Sekulow, Executive Director for the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2013 We the People Convention which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus on September 28th. In making the announcement Zawistowski said, “Jordan, and everyone at the American Center for Law & Justice, has been working hard for two years to help conservative and TEA Party groups defend themselves against the targeting by the Internal Revenue Service. We are extremely pleased to have Jordan speaking at our Convention about our collective fight to defend our individual liberty and Constitutional rights. He is very well known and respected here in Ohio and we intend to give him a very warm reception on September 28.” Sekulow routinely appears on national television and radio shows discussing the IRS targeting scandal. He is the co-host of Jay Sekulow Live!, contributor to the Washington Post, and one of the most followed conservatives on Twitter. Tickets for the entire We the People Convention, including the luncheon, are available to the public for only $37.50 but reservations are limited.
Other issues important to Ohio that will be discussed at the 2013 WTPC include a discussion of an Article V Convention, Religion in the Public Square, Facts about Medicaid Expansion, The Fight against CommonCore, Illegal Immigration Policy, the Case for Photo ID, Agenda 21 and a 2014 Election Preview.
