HPIO Medicaid Study Debunked

Medicaid Study Reveals Need For Reforms, Not Need for Expansion

The results of a study in Oregon measuring the health outcomes of a Medicaid expansion were released on May 2nd in the New England Journal of Medicine to much public interest and comment. The Oregon study looked at a 2008 Medicaid expansion that was done by lottery and compared the health outcomes of those who were enrolled in the expansion to uninsured patients.
