The Workplace Freedom Amendment is alive and well and cranking up activities for the summer festivities

Project Leader Sue Ellen King is asking volunteers to take full advantage of the summers festivals, fairs, and other gatherings to reach a goal of 1000 signatures each. This is also a great time to recruit a friend and get some help manning your booth or table.  Why not turn this into a group project,  its great when your group has a table at a county fair and among the activities your offering your community,  you are  gathering signatures to help place the WFA on the Ballot.

Collect signatures at County Fairs

Surrounding states have been adopting Workplace Freedom and jobs that could be destined for Ohio are taking a detour to those states that offer Workplace Freedom

Ms King says; “Don’t count on the Ohio Legislature to get this done.  If Ohio is to become a Workplace Freedom state,  it will be thru your efforts.”

Ms Kings asks any volunteers who have not checked in recently to please forward your current signature counts to her. Also if you have any completed packets please send them to the office at:

STE. 900   BOX 346

Ms King and her staff of volunteers are scanning the packets, boxing them up,  and getting them ready to submit to the Secretary of State.

Here are some of the activities where Workplace Freedom Amendment volunteers have been collecting signatures:
Troy Strawberry Festival, the London Strawberry Festival, multiple libraries throughout the state,  Sunbury Antique Festival, Rib and Jazz Festivals throughout the state, Pickaway County Fair, Hueston Woods Arts and Craft Festival, Oxford Wine and Art Festival, Springtime in Ohio Art and Craft Show, Gallia County Artisan Market for example.

If your collecting signatures at one of your events,  please let Ms King know,  take some pictures and forward them to her.  Its always nice to see our fellow volunteers share their success stories with photos and a short story.
